Don’t Stop the Music

October 14-15, 2011, Higher Octave Healing held the 2nd annual Don’t Stop the Music fundraiser at the ASU Recital Hall in Tempe, AZ. Over 30 music acts and bands performed at the 24-hour non-stop musical pledge drive event that was free to the public. In addition to providing community awareness and promotion of music therapy, the event raised funds for continued music therapy service for many individuals at HOH as well as our funds to ensure our continued support of supervision of music therapy fieldwork students and interns through HOH. We look forward to next year’s Don’t Stop the Music event. Learn more about Don’t Stop the Music and watch for upcoming information on how your band or musical act can participate and compete for the Grand Prize: a 3-song EP Recording! www.dontstopmusic.info

ASU Partnership

The Higher Octave Healing office is located off campus at Arizona State University in the ASU Community Services Building in Tempe, AZ. On a daily basis, our Board-certified music therapists work closely with students and interns enrolled in the ASU music therapy program. HOH provides opportunities for students to learn by observing and working directly with professionals in a clinical setting. Students and interns completing the AMTA-approved music therapy program at ASU and working with clients also have opportunities to be assisted and supervised by professionals through Higher Octave Healing.
