QUALIFICATIONS:

PEDIATRIC SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

STATUS: OPEN/ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Part-time or Full-time.
• Provide 1:1 in-home therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities (0-22) throughout the Phoenix metro area (flexibility in scheduling and location) This position is responsible to provide individual speech-language pathology treatment, conduct speech and language evaluations, provide parent training/home program as needed, and consult and support other disciplines.

EDUCATION:

• Master’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences or other related degree required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence required.
• Arizona state licensure required.

OR

• Candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Hold a current Certification of Clinical Competence with the American Speech and Hearing Association and/or strong Clinical Fellow candidate.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Experience writing goals and implementing evidence-based interventions including ABA, PRT, and/or PECS.  Knowledge of ACD systems required.
• Experience with a variety of evaluation tools for children ranging in age from 12 months to 22 years old preferred.
• Qualified to conduct ACD evals a plus
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to be flexible and support team needs as they arise.
