2013 Summer Camp

Summer 2013 Camp:  June 3 – July 25,  9:00am – 12:00pm

We have only TEN spots available for each week of camp this year.

Age 5 – 13

DDD funding (12 habilitation hours or private pay funding accepted per week)

Communication, self-expression, gross and fine motor, sensory, and social skill development through goal-directed activities including: music, yoga & movement, and arts & crafts for children with special needs ages 5-12.  A fun music therapy and expressive arts experience for children in a group setting.

 

Goal-directed large and small group interventions addressing skills areas:

  • Communication
  • self-expression
  • social development

Through:

  • Music
  • Adaptive yoga
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Movement and Dance

Therapists, adaptive yoga instructor, and support staff provide a low staff:child ratio in order to promote active, goal-directed social involvement in breakout groups.

FEE:     $150 for one child; $135 each additional sibling

Habilitation hours (DDD) accepted in lieu of private pay.  We do not accept respite hours as payment for this camp.

Registration is OPEN!  We have only TEN spots available for camp each week.

*Please note* if your child requires 1:1 support to engage in group interventions, you will need to send a provider or family member with your child so that they can assist your child in engaging with interventions presented by therapists.  This is a change from last year and required so that each child can gain the most benefit from the camp experience.
